Our new anti-theft alarm system includes a horn, independent of your car's power supply, and a timer-controlled alarm. This is triggered if an unauthorised person tries to open your car door. The anti-theft alarm, including ultrasonic interior monitor, protects the doors, boot, engine compartment and car interior against unauthorised access. The ultrasonic system also detects anyone trying to get into the car through a broken window. The interior monitor can be disabled if, for instance, you have to leave a pet in the car for a short time. Locking the car activates the anti-theft alarm, and unlocking deactivates it. Some models also feature tilt sensors as components of their alarm systems. These register changes in the positioning of the car (caused by attempted towing-away) and trigger an alarm in response. The anti-theft alarm initially sounds the horn for 30 seconds, accompanied by continuous flashing of the hazard warning lights.
